The history of Yeguada Senillosa, begins on the beach of the Bay of Roses, by first acquiring horses to walk tourists, in our hotel facilities. As the tourist season is known by all that it lasts 3 or 4 months, when the work of walking tourists was finished, the horses were released from autumn to spring, in the park of Aiguamolls de l’Emporda». The following year in spring they regrouped again, this time all the mares with their harrows (young).

This is how, broadly speaking, our love for horse breeding began. This stage, we think we remember, lasted about 10 years. The next stage occurred when we bought five mares from Maria Fernanda Escalera de la Escalera around 1977, as we were friends with Manolo Novales.

Today, after 50 years of conformation shows, we have become quite experienced and we have learned that conformation shows are mostly very interesting for comparing our specimens with those from other breeders, giving relative importance to the awards that are obtained.

Our horses stand out for their exemplary character and unique functionality within the breed.

We specialize in classical dressage (Olympic discipline).
